Located in the most fashionable district of Milan, Noa Bistrot is influenced in its details by the presence of the various fashion houses. From its image down to the composition of its gastro menu, it is a perfect combination of the district’s elegant atmosphere together mixed with the presence of old and reconverted factories.
The location is a single room where dining room, counter and preparation share the same space. The choice of flooring is a composition of old, original reclaimed Milanese marble chip tiles, called “Marmette”, and the circumstances gave the opportunity of laying them with a new combination of textures.
The premises present a well-balanced mix of elegance and character. The industrial character is evident in the choice of steel as the main material for the bar counter which, in turn, is anchored to the varnished corrugated sheet iron used for the ceiling. The elegance shows through in the choice of facings, upholsteries and colours.
Recovered original lighting fixtures are combined with recessed and LED diffuse lighting.
The details and colours of the ceiling decorations escort the visitor along this French flavoured sensory experience, which, nevertheless, always retains its metropolitan traits.
The location is a combination of atmospheres and materials: parquet on the ceilings and industrial self-levelling “Livellina” on the floors.
